Challenge

Lionel (Lionel Trains, an American designer and importer of toy trains and model railroads that is headquartered in Concord, North Carolina), was importing branded bar stools to sell on their online store and in their print catalogs. Product delays, shipping delays, and large quantity order requirements led to an extensive backlog of orders and a negative customer experience.

Solution

We created unique designs for not only stools, but tables, clocks, mirrors, and other products as well. Within days, proof designs were approved and production began. Due to our proficient production capabilities, we quickly filled Lionel’s backordered stools. Orders for new product offerings of tables and clocks were also fulfilled.

Result

Lionel was able to move forward with smaller orders, keeping inventory investment low, while fulfilling orders in weeks vs months, improving customer satisfaction. They added new products to their promotional portfolio to satisfy market demand and ordered quantities that fit sales for a just-in-time approach. In addition, they offered a 115th Anniversary promotion using clocks and mirrors, each numbered 1 to 115, creating a unique celebration for this milestone.

Challenge

Support Game Room Gallery (game table retailer in California) in the development and implementation of a unique cross promotion with Matchbox Twenty’s summer tour, spanning 3 months and 22 stops.

Solution

We created a unique design with the band’s logo for the custom Misha bar stool. Over the course of the summer tour, 2 stools were sent to each of the 22 concert locations to coincide with the band’s show. Members of the audience were selected from each stop to sit in the sound booth for the show, then take the stools home when the concert was over.

Results

Our low minimum order quantity, logistics network, drop-ship abilities, and customer service aided in the smooth success of this exciting cross promotion.

This event led to a promotion with Rob Thomas’s charity, Sidewalk Angels. The charity raises money to fund and support over 20 no-kill animal shelters and animal rescues across the country. Leaning on our efficient one-piece production abilities and drop-ship capabilities, another special promotion achieved success with no inventory commitments or expenses for the customer.

Challenge

DeKalb (leading seed supplier) sought to increase brand presence and offer an incentive program for its dealers. The challenge was to develop unique items for the program with turnkey implementation and management.

Solution

We created unique designs for stools, tables, clocks, mirrors, signage, and grill covers to increase brand presence and incentivize dealers.

We created marketing collateral and sell-sheets for program promotion, as well as forms for easy ordering, processing, and fulfillment. Our proficient production capabilities and inventory and logistics management allow us to make custom orders as they are placed and shipped directly to the end user.

Result

DeKalb launched a successful incentive program, marketing a variety of promotional items to support brand awareness. With no minimums, up-front inventory commitments or expenses, and no handling of product, they manage the program with ease.
