Skilled craftsmen build each stool from solid European beech wood using mortise and tenon joinery, reinforced with metal corner brackets and glued-and-screwed joints to eliminate wobble and maximize long-term strength.
Customize your stool with a sculpted 1.25-inch wood seat or a premium upholstered seat. The cushioned option features 2.5 inches of high-density, U.S.-made foam, wrapped in commercial-grade vinyl or fabric that stands up to everyday use. Upholstery meets CAL 117 flammability standards, is GREENGUARD certified, PFAS free, and complies with CA Section 01350 for low chemical emissions. This ensures comfort, safety, and responsible material use.
A multi-step finishing process enhances the wood’s natural beauty and adds a durable, scratch-resistant coating. Designed for daily use, the Sloane curved slat back chair supports sustainable practices by reducing the need for frequent replacement.
