The 840 Grizzly 1 Swivel Stool combines a fully upholstered, wraparound bucket-style seat with durable welded steel construction for residential and commercial interiors. Its substantial 4-inch seat cushion, padded backrest, and gently curved sides create a traditional pub-style seating profile, finished in commercial-grade black vinyl for easy routine cleaning.
Built with 16-gauge, 1.25-inch tubular steel and solid MIG-welded joints, the Grizzly 1 is independently tested to support up to 550 lbs. and meets applicable ANSI/BIFMA furniture standards. Its exposed steel frame and circular footrest provide a sturdy foundation beneath the upholstered bucket seat.
The standard S-360 swivel provides continuous 360-degree rotation using 52 stainless steel ball bearings. An optional memory swivel offers 180-degree rotation with automatic return to its original position, allowing customers to select the swivel function that best suits their space.
Choose from five steel frame finishes: Anodized Nickel, Black Wrinkle, Bronze, Chrome, and Pewter. The Grizzly 1 is available in 25-inch counter, 30-inch bar, and 36-inch extra-tall seat heights, with custom heights available.

The Grizzly 1 features a rounded, wraparound upholstered seat with gently curved sides rising toward a padded backrest. Black vinyl upholstery extends across the seat, sides, and back, creating a continuous surface and the familiar silhouette of traditional pub-style seating.
Below the upholstered bucket, the exposed steel frame and circular footrest provide a visual contrast to the padded seating above. Black Wrinkle creates a coordinated dark appearance, while Chrome offers a brighter contrast. Anodized Nickel, Bronze, and Pewter provide additional ways to coordinate the stool with surrounding furnishings and finishes.

Clean powder-coated frames with a damp cloth and soapy water, then wipe dry. For Chrome frames, use chrome polish according to the polish manufacturer’s instructions.
Clean black vinyl upholstery with a damp cloth and soapy water, then wipe dry, following the selected material’s cleaning instructions. Test spot removers in an inconspicuous area before use.

The Grizzly 1 is available in 25-inch counter height, 30-inch bar height, and 36-inch extra-tall height. Custom seat heights are also available.

Can the swivel be locked in a stationary position?
Yes. We can weld the swivel to prevent rotation. Request this modification when placing your order.

What warranty applies in a restaurant or bar?
The commercial-use limited warranty provides three years of coverage on covered components under normal use and service. Upholstery and wood or metal finishes are excluded.
