Its backless tubular steel frame features a bright, triple-plated chrome finish and distinctive double-ring design, combining recognizable retro styling with durable construction. Classic black vinyl creates a familiar diner-inspired appearance, while additional upholstery options allow the stool to complement different interiors.

A polished chrome frame, two circular rings, and a round upholstered seat define the C7C1’s diner-inspired appearance. The chrome-and-black combination, available with solid black vinyl, recalls vintage restaurant counters, soda fountains, and neighborhood bars. Other upholstery colors, patterns, and textures can shift the look while retaining the same recognizable frame.
The cushion’s reinforced upholstery bead creates a defined edge between its top and side panels. The chrome rings visually anchor the slender frame, and the backless shape keeps the profile open. These details give the C7C1 its own retro identity within the broader Classic Series, which includes more than one frame style.
The C7C1 combines a cushioned, backless seat with a double-ring base that offers foot placement from different seating positions. Its 18-by-18-inch footprint helps with spacing stools along counters or around high-top tables, while the backless form can maintain open sightlines and may fit beneath an overhang when not in use.
The four-inch cushioned seat provides a substantial seating surface. Its S-360 swivel allows users to turn toward the counter or surrounding conversation without moving the stool itself. Two standard heights and a range of upholstery choices make the C7C1 adaptable to different indoor residential and light-commercial settings.
Wipe the triple-plated chrome frame with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, then dry it thoroughly. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, and harsh cleaners that could damage the plated surface. Check the nylon floor glides periodically and replace them if worn.
Follow the cleaning instructions for the selected fabric or vinyl. Address spills promptly and use only cleaning products appropriate for that upholstery. Check the stool’s fasteners and swivel assembly periodically as part of routine care.
