Its strong 16-gauge, 1.25-inch steel frame and solid MIG-welded joints provide long-lasting stability. The open spindle (jailhouse-style) back gives the stool its signature look while maintaining a timeless, versatile aesthetic.
Choose from a range of durable powder-coat finishes or upgrade to rust-resistant 304 stainless steel to match your space or design palette. Our precision-engineered swivel features 52 stainless steel ball bearings for smooth, controlled rotation and long-lasting performance. The Contessa 2 offers a dependable balance of style, durability, and adaptability.
Available in counter, bar, and custom heights, it comes with either a solid oak or maple wood seat—sustainably sourced from U.S. hardwoods—or a padded seat upholstered in your choice of commercial-grade vinyl or fabric. All upholstery options meet fire-safety standards, are GREENGUARD Certified, comply with California Section 01350 for low chemical emissions, and are PFAS-free for improved indoor air quality.
